What a sweet picture of one of nature's sweetest birds. It's lovely how she appears to actually be striking a pose for you. You have a most amazing variety of birds that visit your neighborhood.
Thank you so much for the compliments given my FanFare dandelion pic. You know, I didn't see the 'golf ball' center until you mentioned it, but of course now I see it every time! I must admit complete surprise at the reception this dandelion pic has gotten. So often I put such effort into a photo, sometimes taking dozens, checking them on the computer, then taking a few more in the hopes of getting just what I want. With this dandelion photo I merely snapped the pic, disappointed that I couldn't find one perfectly round dandelion puff, having no idea it turn out to be a "unique" photo. I got lucky yesterday!!
Mourning doves are very hard to capture up close because they are so skittish. You did a beautiful job catching all his features. Definitely a fav for me!!
