We drove up to Northwest Arkansas abut 2-1/2 hours to see the recently built Crystal Bridges Art Museum which is supposed to be absolutely fantastic. We arrived to see a sign "Closed on Mondays in Summer"! It was NOT on their website the night before, but that fact didn't get us any closer unfortunately. Did get a chance to walk around some of their landscaping - which is beautiful. Their cone flowers were the healthiest I've ever seen. This meadow fritillary was certainly enjoying them.
The shot is wonderful! The last time something like that happened to us, the proprietor who happened to be around said, Oh, you must have looked at an old page. What?! -- you look at what comes up, that THEY'VE posted.
Too bad it was closed! This is a lovely photo of the fritillary and the cone flowers. I have a red coneflower variety called Papaya that is just starting to bloom.
