This toad was in about the same place I came across the turtle a few weeks back. He seems rather puzzled to find me (not as puzzled as I was to find him!)

I just adore toads! And how cute is this guy, giving you a bow as you encounter each other on the road. He's got a right-smart red coloring to him that I don't see in the toads here. Mine are rather muddy-brown, pretty much the color of the soil. Wonderful detail you captured; I especially like his eyes.
