Husband caught my many hints and got me the nifty fifty lens for my birthday today - so had to immediately go find something to try it out on. Think this will be fun. Though I'm not sure what people will think with me walking with a camera on each shoulder! (Got to have my zoom, too! Never know when a hawk might appear!)
@skstein So far what I've liked is the ability to blur the background easily because this has the small 1.8 aperture and is better for low light stuff. They say it's great for portraits - but I don't usually do much there.
