I can't remember a year when the Mulberry River has had continual canoeing water for a full year. Now the trees are turning and it is so pretty on this stretch of the river. I am standing on Low Water Bridge - which has been underwater several times this year.
What a beautiful scene! If I were canoeing here, I'd surely get myself in trouble for not paying attention to what I was doing with the paddle because I was watching the beautiful scenery on the shoreline. Your colors there are yet gorgeous.
P.S. Benny~Bear got to borrow the mask, bow-tie and cape from a number of costumed stuffies that also live here. As for the candy, I poured a bag of candy corn out on the table. Any of them that were blemished or broken were eaten by the photographer. :)
@bella_ss You could drift this time of year but in the spring, this gets rather wild - it is classified a II/III river for canoeists and there's great white water. In between the fishing is pretty fun. Beautiful scenery.
