Same here. Our butterfly bush has always been covered with butterflies, but this year they are few and far between. I wonder if all the winter freezes killed them off. :(
What beautiful markings this butterfly has. I've felt like there's been more butterflies in my neighborhood than normal. Not sure what influences the differences from one year to another.
