Finally got to the disk with my pictures from our White River trip last week. Here we were out searching for a particular shoal on the White River that my husband knew was in this area. I knew we had to go down a bunch to get to it! Touch of fall color starting.
Hmm . . . you're in Arkansas and the leaves are already beginning to turn? Some of us are planning a trip to the Tennessee mountains at the end of this month. Beautiful array of colors you've captured here.
@jyokota typically the end of this month is peak time in northern Arkansas - but this year it's anyone's guess - the weather today was high 80's and they're talking near 90 next week. Know that will totally mess color forecasting - and maybe color - up. Keeping fingers crossed.
@thewatersphotos There wasn't a whole lot - but definitely more than we have here in west central Arkansas. Yes, Mt. View is in the Ozarks - north east part. Should be reaching "peak" in the next two weeks - if there is a peak this year. Weather has been unseasonably warm lately.
@milaniet -- thanks for the thoughts on this. we already have our plane tickets and hotel so yes, fingers crossed. BTW, thanks for finding your way to my Worcester Cathedral Photo from summer . .. it really was a lucky day that they were cleaning the floor and therefore it was free of people in my photo!
Just look at all those wonderful trees! No wonder you have so many beautiful birds and butterflies in your area. Excellent POV you had for taking this picture.
Thanks for the comment about the light in my rusty milk can picture. I got lucky with the sun setting to the left of the barrels and filling in the shadows between the two cans and then light reflecting off our white llama barn, illuminating the flower side of the image. How like you to notice such a detail. :)
