Stopped - Probably from Exhaustion

Hoping my Colorado photographer friends will give a shout when things start turning. We're hoping for a brief drive out there to the Gunnison - Crested Butte - Colorado Springs area near the end of the month.

This spicebush swallowtail was flying a long time (better than 15 minutes when I spotted him) before he finally landed on the bush. He'd go all around the yard, over the fence (you'd think he was gone) come back and repeat. Thought he'd never settle down.
Great shot. Your patience paid off.
