A Walk in the Woods

Pops out on black. These little wildflowers, Bloodroot, don't show up around the areas I usually walk. Today we went for a drive and I stopped and walked a wooded area - found several new wildflowers to bring a smile.
Beautiful flower pic! I went hiking today too and took pictures of local wildflowers. I always like the individual flower pictures best, like yours.

Beautiful flower and excellent capture. A shame there's no room for white in your rainbow. Love the purity and texture. Fav

I have some in my garden that were a transplant from a friend's wooded yard. I love how white and bright they bloom. Lovely shot.

Oh, yes...it brings a smile, for sure! Spring wildflowers are such a treat. Yesterday, we discovered the first spring wildflower to bloom in our area. It's called coltsfoot; and the unique thing about it is that the yellow flower shows up before the leaves. (Incidentally, the leaves are shaped like a colt's foot.) Thanks for the glimpse of your wildflower. It's a beauty!
