It is REALLY Dry

Not sure when the last measurable rain was - maybe almost a month ago and then not much. This neatly curled leaf is lying in the creek - not much water there.

I like the almost Spartan look to this very much. The dark, neutral hues and the almost harsh outlines created by the frost are pleasingly stark.
