(Shows behind the falls better on black) At least for the time being - just read where the ticks are already out. This is a trail I hadn't been on before called The Devil's Den trail. Great state park area with lots of caves, lovely water, and these twin waterfalls. Now my problem was this: The trail runs behind the first waterfall (2nd is about 50 yards further - too far to get them in the same shot), leaving a rather wet narrow slanted slippery surface to cross without falling or getting the camera wet. Turned out not to be as scary as I expected and even got a shot from behind the falls.
Beautiful shot! Thanks for the glimpses you give of the amazing natural beauty in your area...I so enjoy them. Be careful out there! — of slippery slopes and ticks!
@louannwarren@janetb@loweygrace Was really surprised to hear several friends tell me they've found ticks on either their kids or themselves already - they were a real problem last year, too. We just haven't had any sustained really cold days the last two years. Going to have to learn to be more vigilant about using the Repel and hope that helps. That's one problem about living alone now - I don't do well pulling them off me.
