How Great to Hear the Water Running

This little creek was totally dry last Saturday - here's what 12" of rain in the week can do - it actually ran out over its banks and across the trail for a few hours. Love the sound of the running water. Mowing time tonight.

Most places getting rain are getting more then us here in Southern Maine but we are getting enough to drive back talk of drought and hopefully enough for a bright fall.

Glad to hear some moved your way although we are still getting too much for our already saturated soil. I have a feeling we're about to lose some more trees in the next big wind storm. Pretty brook!
