Drove around after church today to shoot these for the MFPIAC challenge. Nearly all have a connection to my late husband's family and I've been inside all but one. .The center top was his grandparent's home. The top right was built in 1837 and one of its last owners was Bill's boyhood friend (and still mine). Now an antique shop. Bottom left is now a bed & breakfast owned by the girl I went to Canada with. Center bottom was his great-grandparents house. I messed up my first collage so had to delete it. Sorry. Thank you for the comments.
I could do something very similar in the town I grew up in. It's really special to be connected to a place that way. All of these homes look welcoming and beautiful- great collage!
Oh my what a beautiful collage of old homes and that they have a personal history connection— was your husband from Arkansas? And you were from New York ? Sounds like a great story
@samae Bill was born in Ozark and lived here nearly all his life - I worked for his "big" boss in Little Rock and met on a company party. I had moved to Little Rock after college.
@365karly1 Stands for My Favorite Pictures in A Collage - I believe. Usually runs about a month and doesn't have to be taken during that period. When I get desperate I check to see what the current theme is :) This time was homes.
