I'll be shooting from the kitchen window for the next 10 days - tested positive. And I don't imagine there's anyone in the county who has taken this more seriously than I - and still got it. Feeling better than this weekend though doctor says can have late effects near the end of the 10 days. Staying positive (the right kind!)
yikes milanie i'm so sorry to hear you tested positive :( really hope you will be feeling okay and there will be no 'late effects'. everything crossed for you, and here's to you and this lovely nuthatch being good pals :)
Milanie, sorry to hear of your positive test results. Take care and I hope your 10 days goes by easily. This is a wonderfully focused shot of the nuthatch and I like the contrast with the red perch.
Oh my Milanie, I’m so sorry. I hope you get better soon. Here the people I have known who have had Covid have said they were exhausted for two weeks. My sister and brother in law were exhausted for really two months. I’m so sorry you caught it.
Yikes! Feel better Milanie! This is a great shot though your window. I hope he comes to visit your daily to keep you entertained. Best wished, take care and rest!
Awesome shot! I hope the birds cooperate for you and visit often while you recover. Very sorry to hear that after all your precautions, you still tested positive. Take care.
Holy smokes! I didn’t expect this news...oh, Milanie, I hope you feel better very soon. I will keep you in my prayers. This picture is absolutely stunning...such a lovely background showing the nuthatch perfectly. The birds will surely bring joy to your days as you recover.
Super capture. So sorry to hear the news. Hopefully, your worst symptoms are over and you won't have any later symptoms. My daughter got it and she was just tired and run down for a couple of weeks. Hope it's nothing worse than that. Get better soon.
What a bummer; I can only imagine your shock. Like Diana, I ditto the above comments, and wish you the speediest of recoveries. And will look forward to more window shots!
I was afraid of that when you said you were not feeling well. My sister (78) and my cousins in their early 80s all had it but came through without having to be hospitalized or any really scary symptoms. Odds are that you will, too. Hopefully your window photos will be a distraction for you. This one is excellent.
Oh, Milanie -- I am so sorry to hear this. But you got a shot didn't you? It's possible to test positive after the shot? I suppose you need the second shot to be safe. Take care of yourself, and rest well. This perfect capture of a nuthatch is promise of good photography from your window.
Sorry to hear this and hope you have no complications and a speedy recovery. We observe a tight quarantine and yet it appears despite this the odds are against us.
I'm sorry to hear about the testing and the positive results. Take lots of Vitamin C and D! Zinc also helps the immune system. And if you can enjoy the sun in your yard that too will help the body produce things that build up your immunity. We have been watching some doctor's presentations of what C and D do in coping with the virus and it's pretty amazing. In a nutshell they cause the virus to explode and the body heals more quickly! Good for you that you still will take pics and with entertaining fellows like this Nuthatch coming to your feeder, you'll get a lot of nice shots. This one is so crisp and has that nice red to off set the colors of the Nuthatch. Great shot! I will keep you in my prayers and hope you feel better soon.
