A Garden to Truly Enjoy

The garden where I took the water lily yesterday belongs to a lady I've known for nearly 40 years (taught her 3 kids). She's a widow and her biggest enjoyment (besides bowling) is her day lilies. She told me she counted a year or so ago 76 different varieties. She wanted me to take some pictures of them for her.

How wonderful. I am going to a day lily farm on Thursday. They have 2,000 varieties of day lilies! I am just starting my collection and have yellow, orange, burgundy and some peach colored ones.

There is a lady somewhere near here who has a garden with almost 100 varieties. According to many who've photographed it, it's amazing. These pictures are really nice and I'm sure your friend is going to love them.
