So Why No Frogs?? by milaniet

So Why No Frogs??

There sure were enough lily pads in the little pond - even some water lilies - but not one frog to hop on a lily pad! Phooey.
In my feed this picture is right below mine for today. Would you believe I took water lilies.

@joansmor I just saw yours and loved the pink - these were originally yellow or white - but needed a b&w :)

We don't have many frogs now either! I wonder why?!

What an amazing B&W imagine. Love all the circles the lily pads have made. I've not seen but two toads this year, and I've only heard a couple of frogs in the yard. It's not like it was a dry spring. On the contrary, it was a damp one!

I've got a pond sort of like that around here, and have not seen the first frog on a lily pad. That would be a plus, but this capture is really cool, even without the frogs.

This is a wonderful composition! Great choice to use b&w to bring out the form and to highlight the flowers.

Beautiful pond and a great shot.

Lovely b&w image. It really brings out the ripples in the water. Is that bubbles I see? Perhaps there were frogs but they were hiding from you.

The water lilies are like stars against the water

Really nice detailed shot

@littleconnie The ripples are from a small one step waterfall where the water was sliding down - otherwise, all calm water.
