Drove over to Destin, Florida - about 30 minutes away and a popular destination for Ozark people - and the beaches were packed. Then look at this view from my condo patio - bliss! Navarre is a well kept secret! Water is every bit as beautiful. In the far distance you can see the fishing pier - said to be the longest on the Gulf.
Yeah, should have mentioned something about that. Destin is a very popular spot for everyone. Your lucky spring break wasn't going on down there. :-) I've fished off of that pier a few times way back when. Always a good spot to fish. Nice capture of the beach. It is deserted. Hope it does continue to clear up totally for you while your down there.

We drove to Destin from Houston with the kids a few years back. I remember the blue of the ocean and the white of the sand. However we went 'off season' and there was no-one there! Glad you've found a quiet place to chill!
