There is a disagreement on this lovely plant - Sis says it's a piece of an oak tree, I say it's a fern. Either way, it's growing (or resting) in the gutter above the den. Certainly not the right place for it, whatever it is! The gutters badly need to be cleaned out, especially with the rainy season starting next month.
