The loquat tree (aka Japanese plum) is covered with fruit as usual. We don't really eat them, but the birds love them! We had a large group of cedar waxwings perch on top of the tree the other day and eat everything in sight. They dropped dozens on fruit on the ground below, which a group of four raccoons quickly took care of that same night.
