today's harvest. they don't look like much. but the taste is awesome... wayyyyyy better than the big beautiful strawberries you get at the grocery store.
@cdonohoue thanks Cathy. sure come on over.... but i must warn you. you may have to fight me or mr mini to get a bite of strawberries. lol we only get a about 5 berries per week. we did have a nice size strawberry patch a few years ago. but, floods from the past couple years destroyed all the strawberry plants. i have started over this year with just 3 plants.
That's always the case; small, homegrown strawberries are way, WAY better than anything you get in the stores. We had a lots of flowers this spring, but a cold snap prevented many of them from setting. :o(
@hoosierhokie aww Becca. yeah i heard there have been some unseasonably cold nights up that way.
@maggiemae thanks Maggie. haha, yeah i guess it does look like kissing. well, the one on the right had a spot on the tip so i cut that part off. so then i pushed them together to hide the cut off part and this is what i got. :)

@corymbia they are delicate and hard to get started here too. but once they take hold, they multiply like crazy.
