The Autumnal Colors

There are still flowers and insects out! Significantly less then there was before, but still enough to take photos of.

Flies are sometimes tricky to identify, this one is probably a Phaonia rufiventris but i'm not sure. Of course it lacks an easy to remember name, so I'll call it a redeye porcupine fly. Maybe not as easy as the red cactusbottom and brahead fly but it works!

Also, gah the downsizing of the photo on here made the eye lenses look a bit weird! It still looks nice though!! :D

Don't they have the most magnificent names? I love the details on this, especially the eye and the hairs on the legs
