Since I saw the discussion on using crystal balls in taking pictures, I got interested in looking for one. I looked at a local garden center and they had this big ball on display among the plants. I pulled out my P&S and snapped a couple of pictures. I got a little selfie in there, too. :) They had some colored balls for sale which were pretty big so they didn't really have what I wanted.

Ooh, that's cheeky! Did anyone look at you? I always feel a bit silly when I do something like this... I invariably turn round and someone is looking at me a bit strangely (usually my husband lol!)
@jackie8 Thank you Jackie. Fortunately no one was close to where I was so if they did see me, they were too far away for me to notice. Like you, I feel awkward about it sometimes, too.
Great idea, I just go around and find different colored ones in people's gardens. I know where there are three different colored ones. hey, great selfie.
In the real world I have never heard someone say "that's cheeky". Just in novels. I love that it was used here. I adore gazing balls in gardens. I don't have one either but this borrowed use of one makes for a great picture.

What a great shot, Marilyn. Love the reflections you captured including you. The balls that one gal on here uses was purchased at Amazon.com. They come in various sizes but fit in your hand. I have wanted one also. Would prefer to find something like this though as it was free to use. FAV
