Just having a little fun with a glass ball. This one is pretty tiny from the top of a decanter. I need to get a better ball. I want to get a little bigger one.
This is a great shot. I have a large crystal ball and don't get it, it is just to heavy to use and to big. I can never get my shot clear, any suggestions?
@miata2u Thank you Peggy. I haven't had much experience with it but I put a magnifying filter on my lens and that seemed to help in taking this shot. Without the filter, it didn't seem to work as well. I don't want to get too big of a ball but one that is least a little bigger than this one.
I like the idea of a tiny ball and your top of a decanter has maybe something you can hold on to. I'm afraid of dropping a big ball. I think your picture came out quite nicely.
@pixiemac Thank you Sarah. I was just looking at them on ebay yesterday but still haven't decided where to get one. Thank you for the suggestion, though. I will probably look there again once I figure out what size I want.
Great job! I really want a smaller crystal ball...to be honest. But I do like my bigger one. But this small one you have here...easier to carry places and easier to hold...
What a great shot, Marilyn. Love that you were so creative to use the top of a decanter and a magnifying filter. Just got a new camera and jotting notes as to what I want to go with it once I learn how to use it and get another battery.
