Lots of junk by mittens

Lots of junk

We've driven past this junk yard before and I posted a picture awhile back of it but we drove by it again so I thought I would take another picture since it's kind of fascinating looking there. It's a pretty good size junk yard. This is only a small part of it.
So much to look at. I lie your processing!

Junk yards amaze me!! Things we call junk are some one else's treasures!!! What a huge pile and such great details on all the things that are in there!!! FAV

Beyond acceptation . ( Not you pic. , the junk) Can some one drop this like this ? We call it an environment crime and the penalty for it is very high .
In our country we have depot`s to deliver and to recycle it .

I'm glad I don't have to live next to that lot! lol. It's a good job all that metal can be recycled.

Is it a private junk yard or a municipal one? Such an accumulation.

@pyrrhula Most junk yards in the US are businesses that collect the scrap from local disposal places and then sell the metal to other business for recycling.

@khawbecker Khawbecker - This junk yard seemed to be a private one.

Cool capture of it! I like how the top right is quite green and bright, but it gets darker and greyer towards the bottom left.

Seems to kind of make a statement about the way the world is headed with the pretty trees & sky behind it. Scary!

Hope they are looking after the environment Marilyn, it's not the collecting the scrap, it's the run off after the rains.you'd be surprised to find out what comes off the scrap.

@mittens Thanks for the replay and explanation. Only different now is the storage. We `ve certificated recycling storehouses/ for it.

I remember your previous post. I agree with Catherine above, the way our world is headed. Beautiful tress and sky but scary to think about it.
