My tree in January by mittens

My tree in January

I've secretly adopted this tree and I am following it each month for a year. You can see my other shots of it by clicking on my tag: mittens-tree.

We've finally gotten some snow and our wind chills are below zero. Winter has arrived.

Thank you all very much for your wonderful comments and favs. They are so encouraging to me.
Very cool

What a clear capture. I cannot do that with my crystal for some reason. And I love the tree photos for a year, I will be watching the changes.

What size is your crystal? I think mine is just to big to hold long.
January 7th, 2015
@miata2u Thank you Peggy. The box says it's an 80 mm crystal ball and I measured it from side to side and it's about 3 inches wide. I like the size of it.

How cool! It looks like a Snow Globe!!! I love it and the Tree!! I have to admit I am a Tree Hugger kind of person!! Love the composition and I don't know how you could hold the globe and take the photo at the same time. I am so not coordinated enough to even try!!! FAV!!!!!!!!!!
It is sooooooooooooo cold here!! We live in GA and to see these kinds of temps is so rare!!! It is 23 F with wind chill of 12 F. We are having winds at a constant 10 mph up to gusts of 31 mph!!! It's not even the coldest part of the night yet!!! I know, waaaa, waaaa, waaa!!! LOL You stay warm too!!!
