This is not something I would do. Where they are walking, though, it is shallow. If the ice did break, the water would only go up to their knees. I still wouldn't want to take a chance, though.
I beautiful winter scene. all depends on the coldness and how far down the lake is frozen. we here see trucks, cars, snowmobiles, fish huts and people walking all the time. the lake is usually frozen in January and the huts have to be off the lake middle of March.
Good catch- sometimes it's the novelty of what you're doing that makes it attractive- like being able to walk on ice where water usually makes it impossible to do so!
