Does anyone know what kind of peppers these are? My daughter's neighbor gave the plant to me and I thought it was a green pepper plant. But these are definitely not green peppers. I'm thinking they should turn red but they haven't. Are they edible like this?
Gorgeous plant. Rule of thumb is the smaller the pepper the hotter it is. But, I would ask the neighbor just in case they aren't edible (I didn't even know that there was non edible peppers.
I think these are ornamental peppers. They are edible depending on what chemicals they have been treated with. Typically though, gardening centers sell them as a fall "flower" plant for their color.
