Textures of France 17

A perfect afternoon by the river.
The boat here is a traditional form, the style of which comes in varying sizes, open like this and also with an enclosed section. There is one local craftsman that I know of who still makes boats by hand. Lives nearby St. Germaine sur Vienne. He's on a regular route of ours.
Très jolie!! How I wish I was in France right now!!!

I love the way the colours compliment to create serenity in the picture.

Thank you for the comments on my glass-wing butterflies. It was a real "365" gift ... because it was only when I got home to process the pictures that I saw the full magnificence of the wings. They are tiny, and move constantly so in real life you do not have the same quality opportunity to see the grain and texture.
