I'm just an ordinary school teacher/media specialist, turned media fanatic by trial and error. I love taking pictures, spending time outdoors, and living life through love and laughter with my family and friends.

I live in Penscola, Florida. I was born and raised in this beautiful northwest Florida community. We are known for our sandy white beaches (Pensacola Beach) and our naval air station.

This is my first time attempting such a project. I wish I had started on January 1, though. I love the challenge of completing the project on a daily basis. I have enjoyed participating in a Month Photo Challenge during March since i don't have to come up with subjects. I hope this summer to delve into some editing but for right now my time only allows me to point and shoot. I plan to work harder this summer to learn more about my camera and its functions as well as. I look forward to the final project, a book of my year, a photo journal.
