We went looking for the swan's nest last weekend in Falmouth, MA. Saw this swan & his mate but not the actual nest, though I'm sure it must have been close by.
wow this a gorgeous shot Shirley, love that bit of reed sticking out of the water and the ripples, also the droplet on the swans beak plus the reflection.
Thanks everyone for looking and commenting - @sailingmusic - I think that's just where we were, Myrna......we were on the bike path and I got a shot of Nobska Light just down the coast from where we stood - just a few feet from this pond....my sister wanted a shot of the bike path and the lighthouse to put up on a website she has.......I'll post it in my second album.
oh Shirley, this is gorgeous. the ripples on the water and that little bit of grass and the reflections......wow.....they all combine with the swan to make such a nicely composed shot! i love this! fav for me!
