@girlie Hi Robin, I wasn't able to find any uses for this flower other than to attract Hummingbirds. No mention anywhere of our Native American tribes using it for dietary or medicinal purposes. I read that most sages aren't edible. thanks for all your comments & your loyal follow.

Gorgeous capture. I'm guessing that the Humming Birds love to put their long beaks in those flowers! It's amazing how you can even see the velvet on the leaves. Wonderful!!
