My 365th picture,in a little over a year.
I have really struggled in the last few weeks to finish this project. I think it's probably because I didn't want it to end. I had no idea when I started, how addicted I would become to photography and to this site. Thank you to every single person who has ever looked at, commented and faved any of my pictures. Simple words from people who I probably never meet (and some that I have) have given me much needed courage to try harder and look more closely at the beauty all around us. The many, many photographs that are posted every day, by all of you, have provided me with a sense of awe and inspiration, as there is so much incredible talent and creativity here! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Re: this picture: I had other ideas for it (as is often the case with my pics) After taking a few shots my darling pig walked past, giving Jemma cause to move...horror of horrors, the balloons came with her and they made a rustling noise!!! Well, she took off as if the devil was on her tail...through the bushes! No 5 popped and no 6 broke free, floated into the air, and was last seen heading south to Antarctica! That left us with a terrified Jem and no 3.... which I carefully removed from her collar, much to Tyler's delight. He had been eyeing those balloons ever since I brought them home!
I may just have traumatised my poor little Jem for life!!
So....I will be staying on for a while longer. I may not post every day, but I will be around...
I still have so much to learn!
Congratulations! Great photo and even better story to go with it. I always look forward to your posts and am delighted to read that you'll stick around.
Whoop, whoop biggest :) ever! Congratulations on finishing! What a wonderful journey, discovery and growth you have had. For me sharing this with you has made the horrible actual miles between us seem a little smaller so im glad to hear you will be sticking around. I think my project title should be 365 in 563, I just might be able to do that many photos in that many days.
LOL! Shame poor Jemma, the things we put our loved ones through for a photo, I'm sure she'll get over it eventually :)
Congrats on getting there & joining the 1st year club it's an excellent accomplishment & it's been wonderful to follow you, I look forward to your 2nd more relaxed year :)
Poor Jemma - has she forgiven you yet? Such a cute photo - and Jemma has been so much a part of your Project that this shot just wouldn't be right without her!
Congratulations Michelle!!!! Well done for hanging in there to the finish! It has been such a pleasure to share pics and comments with each other over the past year :-D
