Baum Marder / European Pine Marten (martes martes). Seen today in a special animal park with the aim to strengthen endangered native animals and reintroduce them. (European Endangered Species Programme (EEP)). They are well known for the programm for bearded vultures, which is something I do support in different ways.

So cute and touchable in this picture! Everyone here is talking about martens breaking their cars overnight, and I've never seen one!

@vera365 Hi Vera, thanks for your comment. The one eating the cables in the cars is a Steinmarder / Hausmarder (Martes foina) a different species. This one needs huge forests for healty living and he is avoiding human proximity. Looks very cute, but it is not recommended to cuddle,... ;-)
