2015-11-19 first light

As contrast to yesterdays "last light".

The predicted weather changes is delayed apparently.

So I have been hoping for a beautiful pinkish sky over the mountains and delayed driving to work for an hour this morning. But this was all that could be seen. A bit a pale sky. After all, once again a view of the mountains, before the winter weather blocks the view completely.

BTW: The cranes (with working lights) are on the Buergenstock. They build a new hotel complex there.

Taken from our balcony.
Awesome shot, love the layers

At its best viewed on black, the layers are wonderful and that little group of lights makes a great focal point.

These are really high peaks and that would be snow on them? Just the tiny tip of pink light - well spotted!

@maggiemae Hi Maggie. Yes they are quite high. The one in the middle is the Eiger with 3970 meters and the other two are over 4100 meters. We live at 500 and something and yes this is snow and glaciers you see. Beginning of this month, we hiked just under the Northface of the Eiger Mountain. Gah! You are so lucky to live there! Although in a few months I'm sure you will be dreaming of Costa Rican winters ;)

Those are real mountains !! I've come to realise that here in Australia we only have hills. Thanks for your recent visit to my "project' (more correctly my lifestyle 8-)
