Another try with focus stacking (using it only partially, as I meant this is more pleasing for the eye = false thought) with a different lense. I now figured it out how it works, but I kind of don’t like it. So instead of only playing with food, I’ll cook this gratin made from blue St. Galler potatoes. (And I have to find some new cream,… as the displayed one, has vanished…) http://365project.org/mona65/2015-plan-b-alb/2015-12-19
I think it makes a nice food display. I agree that it is quite the different effect from focusing closely on something....but probably has its artistic uses when you need it.
Very nice processing.....focus stacking sounds painstaking....hope they extend the deadline on that! I am more interested in how your kitty got up there to drink the cream... ;-)))
@panthora Hi Osia, once you have the hang on it, it is technically not very difficult. It's time consuming and I had to overthink my compositions. But as you said, you are more interested how Samira got up there. Oh, it's a cat, so she just jumped on the table. ;-) With no shame, probably she knows after 18 years, she is not aloud on the table. But,... she doesn't care.
