On the left some peaks from the Sella Group on the right Sassolungo. The Gödner Joch is the last Pass we have to ski before beeing "home" again. We did today an amazing 30 km (slopes) skisafari to what we call the hidden valley. In realty it is a small nameless valley leading from the Lagazuoi Peak (2780 m) Cinque Torre to San Cassiano. There are next to the quite great distance that we have to cover a few othee highlights on this route. Turquoise coloured icefalls, great scenery, unmaintained slopes,... and what I like very much is a horse powered "skilift". A couple of people can hold to a rope, and a horse drawn carriage pulls you through a flat area, back to the next normal skilift.
@365projectorgjenfurj Did I forget to mention how extremely tired and exhausted I am, and how sore my muscels feel? I'm by far not as fit, as I would like to be.
Ohhhhhhh..... what an incredible scene! Love the contrast between the rolling slopes and the huge piles of rock! And then the houses give it all a sense of scale and my jaw drops :)
Such amazing contrast in this breath taking shot Mona, it's beautiful beyond words! I can only imagine how you were feeling at this precise moment. FAV!!
I think that few of us have ever spent a day like you just did! This scene is gorgeous beyond words! And I have to wonder at those little houses buried there! I'm glad you were out and having such a good time!
I love the light, shadows and buildings hidden in the snow!
