Having a lot of tasks on my "to-do-list" today, and the light from the window was so pretty. So I did not think long for what to shoot today, and I opted for an easy image. For me this kind of food still-life are quick and easy "like shelling peas". ;-)
Ha, ha I learned this definition just today, hope I used it right.
Better on black, if you have the time.
I love your food photography. I use to have an organic farm and shelling peas was one of my favorite task. I got to sit under the shade of big cotttonwood trees by the river and shell peas. It was a way for me to relax and still feel productive. Fav!
Like @moonmtn, I enjoy shelling peas. My grandparents had an enormous garden and I always got to shell peas on the back porch every summer. I am not sure if as many as need went into the bucket...I think probably too many went directly into my mouth! Your food images are always spectacular!
well i would love to get to the point where a food still-life of this calibre would be easy for me! i find them really, really tricky ... you, however, have the skill to produce a perfect example every time :)
@jyokota This is all natural light and very simple. We have a big window lettling in warm light from the setting sun. A couple of month ago, I made a behind the scene shot,... how my food shots work, if you are interested. http://365project.org/mona65/2015-plan-b-alb/2016-08-30
