Warehouse buildings normally are characterized by unpretentious design. This one is different. Most of the goods stored in this building, especially chocolate, must be kept at a constant temperature of 16 to 18 degrees. So the insulation was important, but the builder was keen to do a designer piece, and renovated this hall inspired by aluminium foil wraped goods. There are kinks and bubbles on the shell of this house. Seen from close up, the irregular outer skin is reminiscent of gentle waves, and depending on the weather, the exterior changes in a fascinating way. And it is told that the metal builder craftsman had *carte blanche* to work, as they were allowed to determine the appearance of the facade itself.

Unfortunately the building is fenced in, and a lot of bushes grow around it, so that it was difficult to get a decent shot.
What a fantastic building! I wonder what it would be like with a tighter crop without the sky so you get a true architectural abstract with the lines of the building converging along side the wonderful texture of the skin of the building!

Most unusual. The surface looks almost structural
