Billed as Britains only waymarked mountain walk, this hike is one of a kind. The spectacular path climbs very steeply through a wide range of habitats from magnificent ancient pinewoods up onto a bare, ice-scraped plateau of quartzite rocks. The views are fantastic. We had all weathers too, from mild sunshine, over rain, rain, rain, and heavy windgusts and icerain on top.
