2018-01-03 orkan burglinde

No skiing today as the orkan Burglinde (an orkan is a European windstorm) hit central Europe and for safety reasons also the whole ski arena was closed. I hiked a bit, but also most of the trails have been closed due to avalange warnings. I had no problems with this, as it was indeed not very comfy outdoors today. So again I have not a lot of pictures taken. This is an icefall a little bit up the rock face. I liked the turqois shine on the ice. If you look closely low on the right side, you can see two crazy ones, ignoring the avalanche warnings and climbing up to the fall.
oh yes is see!
love the bluey colour of the ice fall up the rock

Actually the 'crazy ones' add a good perspective and show just how big this is. Nice picture 🙂

Oh, my! Your processing to emphasize the blue in the water is very effective! Stay warm!
