My youngest nephew and godchild F. reached the 1.40 meters and FINALLY (his words) is allowed to ride the really good roller coasters. So it‘s the job of a good auntie, to go to the theme-park (Europa-Park, Rust, Southern Germany) and ride with him, whatever he wants, and how many times he wants.
For the records: Blue Fire 2x, Silverstar 2x, Wodan-Timburcoaster, Bobbahn, Euro-Mir, Matterhorn-Blitz, Poseidon, Atlantica, Pegasus, and also the water rides, like Rafting, to name a few.
This picture is from the Blue Fire (our favourite): The train is accelerated to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds using a linear induction motor launch on an 80-metre-long launch track. The launch propels the train over a turn that peaks at 38 metres high. Then, the turn leads into a vertical loop 32 metres high (picture), which is the tallest loop on any launched roller coaster in Europe. One turn culminates in a mid-course brake run; and, exiting the brake run, the train completes a twisted horseshoe roll that partially passes over a lake. One airtime hill follows, and the ride ends with a heartline roll and final brake run.
We actually kind of enjoyed ourselfs!
But it was a day for F. and not for photography. So this is not the best picture and I have taken in from the ground! But I liked, that you can see some of the people in this beeing brave enough to put their hands in the air. F. did it too, I only partially. ;-)
