Itàlia is a fairly popular Italian seeded white table grape variety.
It was bred by Luigi and Alberto Pirovano in Vaprio d'Adda by crossing Bican and Muscat Hamburg in 1911.
My husband used to think for years, that the variety is "uva", and once he asked me to by the delicious "uva grapes". Well uva is the Italian word for grapes and when I asked him what kind he wanted, we found out that he thought mistakingly that "uva" is kind of a "brand". We have to think of this every year and it makes us smiling every time.
