2018-09-14 direct democracy, helped to find a picture today
Here in Switzerland we have a (semi)-direct democracy, what means we, the people decide on policies without any intermediary and we have various directly democratic instruments. So we get several times a year a letter with the ballot papers and information brochures for each vote, where we can make our crosses, on executive decisions, deciding on making laws, direct electing people or dismissing officials, and conducting trials.
Long story short, not time for photography today, so I used the tear strip of said envelope, ... laid it on a reflecting underground and later I revolved the picture to make it a heart.
thank you for the interesting narrative also about swiss life
