This swan was very curious, what I was doing so near at the water line. I was there first and he didn't see the beauty in the sky and the reflection on the water I saw.
I backed out, when I felt he (yes it's a male) was serious about not liking his picture taken (or having me in his territory). Swans can be fairly aggressive and I would not like to explain to anybody, that I let a swan bite my nose. ;-) As soon as I was a bit away, they pruned their feathers a bit, openend their wings and in a short period of time swam away.
wow. i'm glad you decided to back away and not get your nose bitten! he looks very much like a bouncer coming up to escort you off the premises. excellent detail on his eye and those water droplets
Beware of swans.......they can be nasty!
