Since I've read and heard from you about the weather in Chicago and the surrounding area, I will not complain about cold fingers anymore. It is nice and cosy here. After yesterdays storm we even got another "dust" of snow, in the higher elevations.
The bench really gives some context. It is pretty deep. When I go to the mountains and want to shoot photos I use bike gloves. They keep my hands warm but let me have some exposed finger.
The snow dusting and depth with that red bench all contribute to a wonderful composition! Our stretch of dangerous cold should end by tomorrow morning -- we are all looking forward to the rising temperature where it at least gets above freezing -- only 50 degrees to go!
