Excursion with my parents to Stein am Rhein. It is a pictroresque historic town at the Rhein river in the canton of Schaffhausen (Switzerland).
The town's medieval centre retains the ancient street plan, even the city gates are preserved. Many of the medieval buildings are painted with frescoes and the other are half-timbered houses.
We enjoyed the city in cold but dry weather. it only started to snow, when we went back to the car.
