Dead flower by monicac

Dead flower

A dead orchid flower. I like its paper-like texture.
It is the bloom of a paphiopedillum pinoccio. Contrary to other orchids, this one does not produce one stalk with a group of flowers along it, but their flowers appear "sequencially": when one dies, the next one blooms from the tip of the stalk. Again and again, for over a year.
Very interesting read of this unusual flower. have to find out if I can purchase on where we live. fav.

Yes the cut offs a in water as I explained in my narrative.
