Lovely bloom, your method of growing orchids sounds really interesting. I'd like to try it but we're often away for several weeks at time. My potted orchids sulk because I have to put them outside and sometimes it's still a bit to cold for them.

You pour about two inches water in the glass container and just leave it there, when it evaporates you just refill. I have never tried it, but I've seen some pretty phals grown that way!
