I think this is not a mushroom, is it?
Anyhow: even if the real thing caught my eye, the resulting image looks so much better in black and white than the color version.
This was taken in monochrome, not post processed.

Thank you every one for commenting. Yes, the white edges are quite dramatic. The colored version is in brown and cream tones.
