@summerfield there is my try. No framing or context because it is just an exercise. Which I enjoyed so much. It took me about half a day. The highlights are the most challenging.
These are terrific! I've been wanting to take an art course of some kind and these kinds of pics may inspire me to get off my duff and do it. Good for you!
@aikiuser i used to live next door to a painter. And i always longed to have the ability to paint. And i was always afraid to put paint on paper. And i was always too tired after work to paint (tired eyes, lack of good light and so many other excuses). Then these times came and i found myself at home, little work to do, and just as if the stars aligned, I found out about this skillshare platform. They are not paying me to promote them. But I found there so many things to learn. Including painting. I have watched and tried this and that and i am happy now that i can overcome the terror of spoiling the blank sheet. I still have that idea in my head. But i began getting over it. Sometimes i do silly things. Sometimes i am amazed at what turns out. And it keeps me going because i find so many things i want to try out.
Beautiful painting and photo of it. I sure miss having our art and wine show this year. It featured local wineries and only resident artists and photographers.
Thank you all so much for the kind comments.
